SMS Terms

Effective October 22, 2026

These SMS Terms explain the text messages Rumi AI LLC (“Rumi AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) sends when you sign in with your mobile number or use your Rumi assistant. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

The short version

  • We text you a one-time code to sign in, and the assistant texts you on the number you choose.
  • Reply STOP to any message to stop. Reply HELP, or email us, for help.
  • Message and data rates may apply. We do not send marketing texts unless you separately agree to them.
  • We never sell or share your mobile number, or your consent to texts, for anyone else’s marketing.

1. Program description

Rumi uses text messages (SMS, and iMessage where your phone supports it) for three things:

  • One-time passcodes, to sign you in or to verify your mobile number.
  • Account and billing service texts that you ask for or need, such as a trial or billing notice, or the status of your setup.
  • Messages from your Rumi assistant, on the number you set up for it.

We do not send marketing texts unless you separately opt in to them.

3. Message frequency

We send one code text each time you ask for a code. How often your assistant texts you depends on how you use it. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.

4. Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us on that number.

Stopping ends sign-in codes by text on that number. If you still want to use Rumi, email support@rumiai.ai and we will help you use another way to sign in. To start receiving texts again, reply START or UNSTOP.

5. Help

Reply HELP to any message, or email support@rumiai.ai, and we will get back to you.

6. Carriers

Texting is supported on US mobile numbers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it, including your mobile number.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your consent to receive text messages with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except the providers that deliver our messages.

8. Changes

We may update these SMS Terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version.
